The Honorary Consul
Dott. Pierluigi Aluisio: founder and President of Venicecom Group, ICT group leader in project, development and management of ICT solutions for big Customers public and private. The Group operates in Italy, Europe, Russia and Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan), Middle East (Iraq).
In the face of increasing work developed since 2005 by the Group Venicecom in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the important institutional relationships established, Dr. Aluisio received the Letters Patent of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 27th April 2012 and Exequatur of the Italian Republic on July 4th, 2012, being appointed as Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Venice.
Services of Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Veneto Region
The Honorary Consulate is governed by the provisions contained in the Vienna Convention of 24th April 1963, which defines it a representative office governed by the Honorary Consul. It plays bureaucratic functions not under international law.
Among the consular functions, the Honorary Consul primarily deals to assist and protect the citizens of the State which he represents in the host country and to promote relations between the represented State and the host one; the Honorary Consul is appointed by the State represented with the issue of Exequatur.
The main activities of the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Venice are:
- Developing trade relations between Italy and Kazakhstan providing information, advice and commercial support to Companies and Entrepreneurs wishing to start or develop a business relationship between the two Countries;
- Organizing regular Thematic Workshop and Business Forum in Italy and Exploration Missions in Kazakhstan;
- Assisting the Governmental and Entrepreneurial Kazakh Delegations visiting Italy;
- Developing cultural relations and mutual understanding between the two Nations and the two Peoples.

Announcement on the extension of visa free travel to Kazakhstan from January 1, 2017
In accordance with the Government resolution of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 23 December 2016 № 838, “On amending the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 21 January 2012 № 148”, “On adoption of Rules of entry and stay of immigrants in the Republic of Kazakhstan and their departure from the Republic of Kazakhstan and Rules of implementation of migratory control, and also registration of foreigners and stateless persons illegally crossing the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan, illegally staying in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as individuals banned from entry to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”
Citizens of following countries may enter and exit Kazakhstan without issuing visas if the period of stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan does not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the State border of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America.
We also inform that the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan exercise the issuance of “business” category single entry visas of for a period of up to thirty calendar days based upon the application for extension of a stay in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan exceeding thirty calendar days for business purposes.
